Support

Quick fixes for the common questions — and a human if you need one.

Need help right now? Email [email protected] with your browser, the extension version (shown at the bottom of the popup), and the website address involved. We usually reply within two business days.

A website looks broken — what do I do?

Click the Adblocker Zero icon and flip the switch for that site, then reload the page — that pauses blocking there while everything else stays protected. If the site works again, a filter was too aggressive: please email the address to [email protected] so we can get it fixed.

I still see some ads on a site

First get the newest rules: open the popup and press "Update now". On Chrome, also enable "Allow user scripts" (open chrome://extensions, pick Adblocker Zero → Details) so anti-adblock scriptlets can run on the strictest sites. Some network rules ship with extension releases, so keep the extension itself up to date too — and if a stubborn ad survives all that, email us the page address.

How do I allow ads on a site I want to support?

Open the popup on that site and flip its switch. The site is added to your trusted list and its ads load normally until you flip it back.

How do I add my own filters?

Open Settings (the gear icon in the popup) and paste rules into "My filters" using EasyList / uBlock Origin syntax. They apply immediately — no restart needed.

How do I turn Adblocker Zero off completely?

Use the main switch at the top of the popup. Your per-site choices are remembered, so switching back on restores everything the way it was.

The toolbar badge shows no numbers

Pin the icon first: click the puzzle piece in the toolbar, then the pin next to Adblocker Zero. Note that on Chrome and Edge the counter is approximate by design (the browser blocks requests natively and only reports matches periodically); on Firefox it is exact.

How do I enable it in Safari?

Open the Adblocker Zero app once after installing, then go to Safari → Settings → Extensions, turn on Adblocker Zero and allow it for all websites so it can block everywhere.

How often do the filter lists update?

Automatically every day in the background, and any time you press "Update now" in the popup or Settings.
