Everything an ad blocker should do, nothing it shouldn't

One lightweight extension that cleans up the web and stays out of your way.

Blocks every kind of ad

Banners, pop-ups, video pre-rolls, sticky overlays — removed by EasyList, the community filter list refined for two decades.

Stops trackers cold

EasyPrivacy and Peter Lowe's list cut analytics beacons and tracking pixels before they ever leave your browser.

Zero slowdown

On Chrome, Edge and Safari the browser enforces block rules natively; Firefox runs a compiled engine. No laggy JavaScript in your way.

Beats anti-adblock walls

Runs the same scriptlets uBlock Origin uses, injected before pages load, to neutralize "please disable your ad blocker" prompts.

Always up to date

Filter lists refresh automatically every day in the background, plus a one-click "Update now" whenever you want the latest rules.

You stay in control

Global on/off switch, per-site trust list, custom filters in uBlock Origin syntax, and live counters of everything blocked.

Three steps to a cleaner web

Install once — Adblocker Zero handles the rest automatically.

Install

Add Adblocker Zero to your browser with one click from its store. No account, no configuration needed.

Browse

Ads, banners, pop-ups and trackers disappear automatically on every site. Pages load lighter and faster.

Fine-tune

Trust the sites you want to support, add custom filters, and watch the blocked counter climb on the toolbar badge.

"Zero" also means zero data

Most "free" ad blockers pay for themselves with your browsing history. Adblocker Zero doesn't: no accounts, no telemetry, no remote logging, no "acceptable ads" program. Every blocking decision happens on your device, and the only thing the extension ever downloads is fresh filter lists. The code is open-source under the MIT license.

Frequently asked questions

Everything you might want to know before installing.

Is Adblocker Zero free?

Yes. It's completely free on Chrome, Firefox, Edge and Safari, and the code is open-source under the MIT license.

Which browsers are supported?

Chrome, Firefox, Edge and Safari each get a native build from the same codebase. On Safari it ships as a small companion app that hosts the extension.

Does Adblocker Zero collect my data?

No. Zero. It has no accounts, no telemetry and no remote logging — blocking decisions happen entirely on your device. The only network requests it makes are to download filter-list updates. See the privacy policy.

Will it slow down my browser?

No. On Chrome, Edge and Safari the browser itself enforces the block rules natively, so there's no per-request JavaScript overhead. On Firefox a compiled engine evaluates requests in microseconds.

Can I allow ads on sites I want to support?

Yes. Click the toolbar icon and flip the switch for that site — it's added to your trusted list and its ads load normally until you flip it back.

Which filter lists does it use?

EasyList for ads, EasyPrivacy for trackers, Peter Lowe's list, and the uBlock Origin filter, unbreak and badware lists. They refresh automatically every day.
