Trouble enabling it?

The toggle is grayed out and can't be turned on

iOS blocks Safari extensions while Web Restrictions are on. Go to Settings → Screen Time → Content & Privacy Restrictions → App Store, Media, Web, & Games → Web Content and briefly set it to Unrestricted. After enabling Adblocker Zero you can turn the restriction back on — the extension keeps working.

Adblocker Zero isn't in the extensions list

Make sure the Adblocker Zero app is installed and note the extension needs iOS 16.4 or newer. Then check that Block All Cookies is off (Settings → Apps → Safari → Advanced), and restart your device — Safari sometimes needs it to pick up new extensions.

It's enabled, but ads still show

Almost always the permission step: open → Adblocker Zero → choose Always Allow on Every Website. You can verify it in Settings → Apps → Safari → Extensions → Adblocker Zero: All Websites should say Allow. Two more things to check: Private Browsing tabs have their own switch on that same Settings page, and individual sites can be trusted (not blocked) from the Adblocker Zero popup — make sure this site isn't.

It stopped working after an iOS update

iOS updates can silently switch extensions off. Re-check → Manage Extensions. Tip: when Adblocker Zero's icon in the page menu is colored, it's running; a ⚠️ next to it means it's missing the website permission. Opening the Adblocker Zero app also shows its current status.

Prefer doing it from Settings instead?

Also works: Settings → Apps → Safari → Extensions → Adblocker Zero → turn on Allow Extension, then set All Websites to Allow. (On iOS 16.4–17: Settings → Safari → Extensions.)
